Fantastic feedback

Thank you to everyone that helped to make our Visitor's Day on Wednesday a success! A few visitors that we were expecting, who could not make it on the day, are planning on coming next week. One has indicated that he intends to submit an application for membership which is fantastic news!

As you know our Regional Director, Frank Flegg, visited us and provided the leadership team with some great feedback after the meeting. Frank also took the time to personally call and congratulate some of the members after the meeting. He praised Paul Jones for his enthusiastic education slot on the 'Golden Rule of BNI' (not selling to the room!), Kirsty Cambers for her fantastic 10 Minute presentation on her business 'Fresh Marketting' where she involved the other members from the creative power circle and for the Events Announcements she made involving our newest members and finally Tristan Day for the successful launch of his new business.

In order to pave the way for growing the Business Team beyond 30 members you may have noticed a few changes that we introduced during the meeting. The changes are aimed at streamlining the meeting to free up capacity for new members whilst allowing us to close the meeting for opening networking from 8:30am.

The changes are:

The main part of the meeting will start at 7:05 am
Breakfast is served from 6:30 am
The 'Thank You For The Money' box is passed around the meeting at the same time as the business card box to collect the 'Thank you for the business' cards
A separate box is passed around the meeting room to collect the pink referral slips
During the positive contribution part of the meeting, members stand, without leaving their place, and announce their positive contributions (and, if they choose to, mention any 'thank you for the business' cards they put in the box earlier). When they've finished or leave their place to hand out referrals, the next person around the table then stands to announce their positive contributions and the process continues.
