In today’s meeting the Membership Co-ordinator announced that the group had passed more than £500,000 in the last two years. BNI Nottingham, Business Team Chapter, is a money making machine for its members!
The whole reason for BNI is so that members can receive genuine leads from other members and visitors to the group. The idea being that everyone looks for work for everyone else in the group.
Does BNI really work?
Part of the Membership Co-ordinator's role is to track performance of the group. The amount of referrals passed by members and the values of the jobs once completed are recorded. This is done so that we can demonstrate to members how well the group is doing, or to highlight areas that need improving.
Our average seat value per member currently stands at over £19,000 per year and as the group grows, the number of referrals passed to members increases. There are very few business promotion activities that can compare to this return on investment, especially during a global recession.
Also in this meeting…
Philip Roworth of RE/MAX Property Professionals (Nottingham) passed 8 referrals to members of the group. This is outstanding work and it should be highlighted that Philip is one of the members that passes a high number of referrals in the group regularly. Referrals result in business!
