At BNI Nottingham (Business Team Chapter) we will be having a visitor’s day on Wednesday 23rd September, 7.00am until 8.30am.

Our visitor days are normally lively affairs, plus they are a great opportunity to do business.

The idea with a visitor’s day is to attract new potential members to the group and for everyone to do business. The more members we get in the group, the larger our collective list of contacts and the greater the chances of all of us getting more business.

If you would like to attend, just get in touch and we will book you in for catering arrangements.

Breakfast costs just £8.00.

BNI Nottingham Business Team Today…

In today’s meeting the membership co-ordinator announced that the seat value per member has gone up to over £20,000 per year. To put this in perspective, over the last few months we have been going through a global recession with businesses suffering all over.

In spite of this global down turn we have been consistently passing high quality referrals, that result in real business.

The membership co-ordinator keeps track of the referrals passed in the group, whether they turned into actual business and how much that business was worth.

With this performance tracking, potential new members can see without a doubt the benefits of joining our group. Plus it gives us something to improve as time passes.

At BNI Nottingham (Business Team), we are not satisfied unless we are improving the results that we are getting for our members.

Also in this meeting…

Paul Jones (an Independent Financial Advisor from Positive Solutions) did a 10-minute presentation, which focussed on the benefits of income protection. Income protection is very important, in particular for small businesses and trades, especially if you have a family to provide for.

Paul has been a member of BNI for over fours years now and was one of the founder members of this group. Paul is still a ‘hands on’ member within this group and feels that BNI is a corner stone of his Business.

Paul amongst many other members feels that BNI is a valuable promotional activity for his business.
